Sunflower oil organic

Sunflower oil is made from the seeds of the beautiful yellow flower, capable of growing up to four meters tall. It is believed that this plant originates from North America, but it is now grown all over the world. The cold pressed oil is high in natural antioxidant vitamin E and known to leave the skin hydrated, bright and smooth.

Shea butter organic

Shea butter is an ivory-coloured fat that's extracted from the nut of the karite tree. The nuts are dried and crushed before being roasted and pressed into a slick liquor. This is then whipped and kneaded to yield a rich butter. It is intensely nourishing but also gentle and easily absorbed. It contains oleic acid, a saturated fatty acid which is highly compatible with the sebum naturally produced by our skin. This means it is readily absorbed and is said to help the absorption of other active ingredients.

Coconut oil organic

The coconut palm (Cocos nucifera) is thought to be native to the warm climates of Polynesia, Malaysia and southern Asia. The trees bloom and bear fruit throughout the year, growing a new flower spike nearly every month. Coconuts are the seeds of these fruits, the largest seed known to the world. The oil is extracted from the inner flesh of the coconut. Coconut oil is known to soften and protect the skin and hair, as well as soothing and smoothing the skin while encouraging a natural balance.

The cacao tree (Theobroma Cacao) grows in warm, humid forests near the equator. Its seeds, also called cocoa beans, are cleaned, dried, roasted and then ground into a thick, oily paste called chocolate liquor. Aloe Vera organic

Aloe Vera is a desert plant that belongs to the lily family. It grows well in dry soils and is native to East and South Africa. It is known to be great at calming sunburn or redness caused by the cold.

Borage seed oil organic

Borage is a flowering plant that grows star-shaped flowers of blue, purple or pink colour. It is a popular herbal y used in traditional medicine and a common kitchen garden herb. The oil is pressed from the seeds and is the richest source of gammalinolenic acid, a compound which is known to soothe the skin and inflammations. The oil is also known to be moisturising and able to calm irritations.

Rosehip seed oil organic

Rosehip oil is harvested from the fruit, also known as the hip, of roses. Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, rosehip oil offers natural antioxidant properties. Having a slight astringency, rosehip oil is considered to be a dry oil, soaking into the skin easily, leaving no greasy residue. Rosehip oil contains vitamin A as well as vitamin E and is rich in linoleic and linolenic acids.

Glycerine is a clear, viscous, water-soluble liquid which occurs widely in nature. It's a traditional cosmetic material and has been used for many years thanks to its well-known effectiveness. As a humectant, glycerine draws moisture from the air into your skin to keep it hydrated and soft. It's also very mild and does not cause irritation.
